Jim White, PhD

PRESIDENT & CEO

Dr. Jim White is Chairman and CEO of Post Harvest Technologies, Inc. and Growers Ice Company, Inc., Founder and CEO of PHT Opportunity Fund LP and PHT Investment Group LLC, and Founder and President of JL White International, LLC. He is the author of several acclaimed books, including the first published book on Qualified Opportunity Funds: Opportunity Investing: How to Revitalize Urban and Rural Communities with Opportunity Funds.

Dr. White achieved international recognition as CEO of Blount World Trade Corporation, Owner and Managing Director of ACEC Centrifugal Pumps NV, Belgium, and as Vice President and Division Manager of Ingersoll Rand Equipment Corporation. Throughout his 40+ year career, he has bought, expanded, and sold 23 companies, operating in 44 countries. Dr. White acquires struggling businesses to revive and develop them into profitable enterprises using his business turnaround strategy. In addition to turning around struggling businesses, Dr. White has worked on dozens of industrial and commercial real estate development and Design-Build projects, infrastructure projects, as well as mining, power, oil & gas, agriculture, and manufacturing projects. To date, Dr. White has generated more than $1.8 billion in revenue. Dr. White holds a B.S. in civil engineering, an MBA, and a doctorate in psychology and organizational behavior.

Nick Stoll

Chief Administrative Officer

Nick Stoll is the Chief Administrative Officer of Post Harvest Technologies (PHT). He oversees the financial and business operations that support our business strategy, and is responsible for finance, controllership and corporate development and strategy, in addition to creating goals, policies, and procedures for efficiency and compliance.

For the last 18 years, Nick was the Controller for various businesses including Growers Ice Company (affiliate of PHT), New Leaf Community Markets (Division of New Seasons), Prescience International (acquired by Johnson and Johnson), and Multigig, Inc (acquired by Analog Devices).

In the first 11 years of his career Nick lived and led businesses in Spain. He holds a Masters in Finance and a Masters in Management of Technology from Golden Gate University, and he received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis. Nick played football and rugby at UC Davis, currently referees Junior College football, and regularly travels to Europe to visit his grown children.

Jakob Levison

Director of Business Development

Jakob Levison is the Director of Business Development for PHT, with responsibilities including capital raising, deal origination and structuring, financial analysis, leasing and marketing, research, and relationship management with current and prospective investors in PHT Funds and Joint Ventures. Prior to joining PHT, Jakob worked at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, M&T Bank, and most recently Blockworks – a fast-growing media startup at the intersection of finance and digital assets.

Jakob received his B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) with a concentration in Choice and Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was also a member of the Varsity Baseball team.
Jakob serves on the Chairman’s Council of New York Restoration Project (NYRP), a non-profit organization operating as the only citywide conservancy focused on New York’s underserved neighborhoods. Jakob lives in New York City, and is based out of our Greenwich, CT office.

Derek Bartholomew

Human Resources Manager

Derek Bartholomew is a Human Resources (HR) professional with over fourteen (14) years’ experience working in Fortune 500 and 100 Companies. Namely, The Goodyear Tire& Rubber Company, Honeywell, and Amazon.

He has a broad and in-depth working knowledge of several functional HR areas, which include Labor & Employee Relations, Staffing, Change Management, Organizational and Career Development, Compliance, Executive Coaching, Diversity and Union Avoidance.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree in economics& History and a Master’s degree in Labor Relations&Human Resources from Cleveland State University. Additionally, he earned a Master’s degree in Organizational Development& Change Management from Case Western Reserve University.

He is an ACC Coach and certified to administer the following programs:

Rick Russo is President of Central Coast Cooling, LLC (CCC). Rick brings a strong leadership background within the fresh produce space, in sales and marketing as well as project management.

His focus is to expand CCC through strategic acquisitions, increased market share for 3PL services, and expanding into new fresh produce markets nationwide. Prior to joining Central Coast Cooling, Russo served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Church Brothers Farms and before that as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Mann Packing Company. His 35 years of experience within the fresh produce industry has afforded him skills in strategic business development, new product development, data analytics, forecasting, team building, and financial management.

Rick has a track record of being results driven and maintaining a focus on the development of differentiation and competitive advantage.

Jeff was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. His extensive C-Suite journey spans over 20 years and includes influential leadership roles in Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing), Surface Science, Material Research, Aerospace, Water/Wastewater, and Industrial Manufacturing industries. Some of these companies include Continuous Composites where he held the CTO and later CEO positions, McAllister Technical Services having served as Vice-President and later President, Blue Water Technologies as Vice-President, and multiple years in The Netherlands as Technical Director for Hositrad Holland BV. His experience has led him to oversee critical technical and operational oversights relying on strategic partnerships, relationship building, and fostering growth across all lines of business. Collaboration, teamwork, and accountability are fundamental to his work ethic. Identifying gaps, proposing solutions, and empowering company talent are genuine motivations for him.

Jeff’s role as President of FMG – Equipment Division brings a true sense of Innovation and value-add into an industry that has been rather static in its creation and implementation of technological advancements.
